This week, my Human Resource management class ended. This class was a half semester class, and I learned a lot from it. I had lots of interaction with my classmate during class, the professor was really nice and knowledge. This Tuesday, we had our final exam and we went to lunch after the final exam.

This week I went to Chiyoda. Chiyoda is a district in Tokyo where the Imperial Palace is located. I spent a lot of the time in the park near the palace. Tokyo is a crowded place, it is hard to find a place with not much people. I really enjoyed staying in the park because there were not much people. I was planning to have a tour in the palace, but I was too late by the time I got there.
When I have free time, I will spend my time walking around in Tokyo. Tokyo is so dense that I can spend a day in a very small section of the city. I went to Roppongi in this weekend, and I found out that Asahi TV station is there. There are some very famous characters' photo spot. I really enjoyed Roppongi.
The way to register class for Keio is very different than my home university. You can just go to whatever class you want to in the first week of school. I registered some class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so I can have some extra time to experience Tokyo. One of the class had only 20 slot for exchange student, and luckily I won the lottery and got into the class.
I arrived Japan on September 6. I was lucky that by the time I got to Japan, the typhoon had finished. I arrived dorm at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. There was 3 housing assistant, one of them explained policy. Then he showed me my room and how I use the washing machine and the AC since the button texts are all written in Japanese. The dorm I lived in has private bathroom, toilet and washing machine. I really like my room.
Before I came to Japan, I attended some orientations. Attending the orientations helped me a lot to finish all the requirement to come to japan. As for the Visa, Keio University send me all the documents I need for applying Student Visa in the consulate. After all, I felt that it was pretty easy to fulfill the requirements through the help of MIX and Keio University.
Thank you Freeman Foundation for supporting me. With your help, I am able to a chance to greatly expand my view of the world and be a better person. My study abroad plan would not be possible without your generous support. It is a great honor for me to be selected as a scholar in this program.
