I got back from Kyushu on Friday night. Within 5 days, I traveled to Fukuoka, Beppu, Oita, Yufuin, Kumamoto and Kagoshima. I am exhausted, but it was a really unique experience. Unfortunately, Kumamoto castle was damaged by the Kyushu earthquake a few years ago. If I have another chance in the future, I will defiantly go to Kumamoto and visit the castle.

It's golden week this week. We will have a 10 day long holiday. Therefore, I decided that I am going to Kyushu. The flight will be today, and I will be flying to Fukuoka. I can't wait to be in Kyushu.
This week, I visited Tokyo University. It was an interesting experience. I was amazed by how the Central Dinning Hall is not only underground, but also gigantic. The food there was also good, I had Akamon ramen which is named after the front gate of the University.
After the first week, I decided take 7 courses. 3 Economic classes, 2 Japanese classes, one management class and an elective class. I was going to take the Global Passport workshop, but I was not selected to the course. So, I decided to try out the economic classes. The economic classes are very interesting, I learned a lot from it. For example, I learned that a small amount of inflation is good for the countries economy.
After spending a wonderful spring break in Japan, tomorrow will be the first day of the new spring semester. I had spend some time to figure out what classes that I am going to take. To be able to register the course, it requires me to go to the first class of the course, so I decided to go to school everyday to try out all the courses that I might possibly take. It will be a busy week for me.
Today I went to Hanami again, but this time I went with the Japanese students from my dorm. We went to three places in Tokyo, The Palace, Shinjuku-Gyoen and Nakameguro. We have had some interesting conversation. It was a really fun experience.
Spring is coming, and Japan is famous for cherry blossom in this season. The activity to see cherry blossom is call Hanami(花見) which means to see flowers. A friend of mine from Hawaii has also come to Tokyo to see cherry blossom. So, we went to Shinjuku Gyoen for Hanami. Unfortunately, because it was early in the spring, there were only a few of the sakura trees has flowers. But, we still took some nice pictures.
Since I spend a lot of the time at the dorm last week, I decided to go out for a walk. I went to walk around the palace, then I walked to a shopping mall near Hibiya station. It was a pretty fun day.
It is spring break right now, and most of my friends went back to the home. I didn't go out a lot at this time. So, I spend some time looking for an internship.
I went to China for Chinese New Year and visited my relatives during the time. I stayed there for around 20 days. During the stay, I visited Guangzhou and this was the first time that I walked around Guangzhou on foot. After China, I went to Thailand with one of the friend I met in the Keio Dorm. We went to Bangkok, the weather was really hot and humid. I didn't really like how Bangkok is which is too urbanized in my opinion. I came back to Japan on the 2nd, there isn't much people in the dorm right now, since many people went back to dorm for vocations. The sakura season is coming soon, I am excited about it.
